Hurricane Vase

I love the Fall, the cooler evenings, crisp cold air and being able to wear “layers”. The best part of Fall….. the  COLORS.

We live at the base of the Sierra Mountains about an hour from Tahoe. I LOVE seeing all the leaves on the trees and all over my lawn. Time for soup, football and a fire in the fireplace. This hurricane lamp from Amanda is perfect for fall decor. I first pinned it in the spring and I have been patiently waiting for fall to arrive ever since.

Hurrican-Vase-New

I purchased the vase  and candle at Michael’s with a 50% off coupon which lowered my cost to $10. The  peas, red kidney beans and popcorn were purchased from the bulk section at Winco. The project took about 10 minutes to complete. Gotta love something that is quick and easy, this is my kind of craft. I made one large vase for my kitchen and a smaller one for the downstairs guest bathroom. How does this pin rate?

This Pin Rocks!

This is WAY cute! And totally easy. I’m thinking I’m going to have to do this one in our apt 😉
