Yes, a 100% cotton tee shirt works the best. Wash and dry it before you dye it, then place it in the dryer for about 15 minutes when you are done dying it to set the colors.

I have never done one so a question do you get 100% cotton tee shirt and pre wash, after the sharpie tie dye will the color fade out after second wash do I need to do anything to the tee shirt.
