In reply to Barbara. Hi Barbara! I've used hair conditioner as well and it does work very well. The difference with my shaving cream is how soft and smooth my legs are after shaving. I never get the same level of silky softness when I use hair conditioner. I will say it is the next best thing to DIY shaving cream. Sure appreciated you following us and leaving your comment! Your recipe sounds great, but Im not much of a DIY person. I have found that the best shaving cream is good hair conditioner. Put small amount on, shave & just wipe off. You don’t even need to use lotion after, but I use one in the winter.

Oh no! I was so up for this till I saw the ingredients. My son is allergic to nuts, peanuts and (unusually) coconuts so all coconut products are out for us 🙁
