<p>Recently I made a <a href="https://www.imbored-letsgo.com/shaved-asparagus-salad-with-lemon-vinaigrette/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Shaved Asparagus Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette</a> (and topped it with salmon) which was so incredible that when I came across this recipe for <a href="https://www.thefirstmess.com/2012/05/02/asparagus-sala-chili-sesame-lime-dressing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">asparagus salad</a> from The First Mess on Pinterest I knew it had to be good.  I love the Asian flare the dressing has with it&#8217;s chili paste, rice vinegar and sesame oil, along with ginger, garlic, lime, and honey.  A delightful combination.</p>
<p>No need to turn on any ovens or stove for this recipe.  It&#8217;s a raw salad! Perfect for hot days when you don&#8217;t want to heat up your kitchen.</p>

<p>To make this shaved asparagus salad discard the tough bottoms and don&#8217;t use the tops, but don&#8217;t throw those tops away, save them for another recipe.  Instead of cutting off the tops of the asparagus I found it easiest to peel the asparagus by holding on to the head.  Using a good, sharp vegetable peeler is essential.</p>
<p>If you love asparagus as much as I do, you&#8217;re gonna love this Shaved Asparagus Salad with Asian Dressing.  Give it a try and let us know what you think!</p>
