Instead of a sugar filled popsicle or slushy, you can hand your kids a frozen snack that is packed full of healthy fruit. You only need three ingredients to make them and I promise everyone will gobble them up. Go crazy and mix several fruits together to make a multi flavored  DIY Yogurt To Go.

They seriously take no time at all and another great thing about them is that they are portable!  Throw them in a cooler, and you have a great healthy snack for your kiddos!  Look at the beautiful colors of these To Go Yogurts instead of the dyed colors of the store bought kind.  This is a snack that you can feel good about giving to your family.  So here we go with the recipe!

DIY Yogurt To Go

Ingredients

• 1-2 cups of vanilla yogurt. I did not use greek yogurt.
• 2 cups of the desired fruit
• 1/4 cup of sweetener. This can be honey agave or sugar. Given the small amount of sugar and spreading it out over 6-8 yogurts, I feel like these are still much lower in sugar than the store bought brand.

Instructions

• In a blender, blend together your fruit and the yogurt. How much yogurt you use depends on how many individual yogurts you will yield. I put in around 1 and 1/2 cups of yogurt and got 7-8 individual yogurts.
• After blending these two ingredients, blend in your sweetener. Or you can also omit this step and just use the fruit and yogurt.
• Pour into the popsicle containers to the "fill line" as they will expand when frozen. I was going to use a funnel but instead just pinched the opening wide and poured the mixture right in.
• Freeze until hard and ready to serve.

Beat the heat this summer with a bucket full of popsicle supplies and lots of fun. Here is what you’ll need to make your own Popsicle Kit, most of these supplies can be found at the dollar store.

• Bucket
• Box of Popsicles
• Popsicle mold
• Kool-aid packets
• Fruit for your favorite popsicle recipe
• Washi tape popsicle sticks
• Popsicle shaped bubbles

Fill your bucket with shredded filler and then place your supplies inside. I made DIY washi tape popsicle sticks and put them in a clear cellphone bags and added a “summer fun” tag. Since the details are what turn an ordinary bucket of stuff into an extraordinary Popsicle Kit I used popsicle printables from Dimpleprints to help jazz up my gift basket.

Deliver your popsicle kit to neighbors or friends so they can beat the heat and enjoy an EXTRAORDINARY summer!

If you are an Oreo lover like me, I think you will like these Oreo Cream Cheese Popsicles that I pinned from My Baking Addiction. Don’t these look decadent?  Maybe as good as a Magnum Bar?  I think maybe!

Oreo Cream Cheese Popsicle

Course Popsicles

Ingredients

• 1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
• 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 8 ounce tub frozen whipped topping, thawed
• 12 Oreo cookies finely chopped
• 1 bottle chocolate Magic Shell

Instructions

• Beat the cream cheese with the sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
• Fold in the frozen whipped topping
• Then fold in 8 of the Oreo Cookies
• Spoon this mixture into your popsicle molds and freeze overnight.
• When ready to assemble, run warm water over the molds to loosen the popsicle for easy removal.
• Pour the chocolate Magic Shell over the popsicle, then quickly roll in the remaining 4 crushed up Oreo's.
• Makes approximately 8 popsicles

No matter how you eat your Oreo’s – if you twist, crunch, scrape, dunk, lick or eat them with your pinkie in the air,  add this one to your list.  You won’t regret it.
