BLT Pasta Salad

Macaroni BLT Salad is the perfect salad for those spring and summer barbecues. Pasta, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo make these a great comfort food too!
- 12-16 oz Macaroni Pasta
- 3 heaping Tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 heaping Tablespoons sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 3 tablespoons white rice vinegar
- 1 pound cooked and chopped bacon I like mine pretty crisp
- 2 Roma Tomatoes chopped and seeded
- 2 cups chopped lettuce
- salt and pepper to taste
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water to help the pasta not stick to itself and to help it cool down.
When the pasta has cooled completely, add the mayo, sour cream, garlic salt, vinegar, bacon, and salt and pepper.
Mix well then add the tomatoes and lettuce and fold the mixture until well blended.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
NOTE: if you are taking this to a potluck, DO NOT add the bacon, tomato, or lettuce until just about time to serve it. That way those ingredients stay crisp and fresh.
