In reply to Jill graham. Hi Jill, If used incorrectly household ammonia can be harmful to both people and animals. I called and checked with our local Poison Control Center as a precautionary measure before posting about this pin. I was informed by the Poison Control Center that as long as you ventilate your kitchen while using this cleaning method, (opening several windows and even using a fan to draft the area) household ammonia is safe to use. This of course means waiting to use this cleaning method when the local climate permits. Having said that, people and animals with respiratory issues can still be sensitive to the fumes of household ammonia even if you carefully ventilate the area. Anyone considering using household ammonia for any type of cleaning should take the health of their family and family pets into consideration first. Hope you have a great day, Tracy

Oven pin is dangerous. Ammonia fines are dangerous to people and even more dangerous to chiOften and animals. My dog started vomiting and I attribute it to the fumes. This pin should be removed before someone gets hurt.
