We are tickled to have Carol from my Kitchen Escapes sharing these fun Cinnamon Roll Pretzels from her Kids in the Kitchen series.
All the special treats that come out of my kitchen during the Christmas season means that my kitchen is always full of little hands trying to sneak a taste when I have my back turned. I can’t get upset because I like to sneak as well when no one is looking! While the simple solution to my “little hands” problem would be to ban them all from the kitchen, instead I choose to get them involved. With six kids, I’ve made it a priority to be sure all six of them leave with some great kitchen skills. In fact twice a month, I post the recipes, ideas and anecdotes I use to get my kiddos involved and learning in the kitchen. Just click this picture and you can join in on the fun too!

5 C pretzels
1/4 C buttter, melted
1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 C white chocolate, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. Add the pretzels to a large mixing bowl and then combine the melted butter, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Pour over the pretzels and using your hands to coat all the pretzels with the sugar mixture. It helps to rub them a bit. Bake for 12 minutes and then once they have completely cooled, drizzle on the melted white chocolate. Once the chocolate is set, store in an airtight container.
