Last summer my round patriot wreath was drooping and turned to oval shape from the heat. I had to remove. Used for fall wreaths no problem.

Hi Tracy,

I am so sorry for the delay in my response to your questions about making this wreath. I would give you the exact measurements of each colored section but I gave my wreath away. The good thing about this wreath is that you do not need to worry about the spacing of the sections being perfect. I started my wreath by making the blue section first. I then alternated the red and cream sections. If you look closely at my wreath you will notice some sections are slightly wider than others. When you look at it as a whole you don’t notice the imperfections. Start with the blue yarn, make it the widest section, next alternate the red and cream sections. Don’t worry too much about it being perfect and it will turn out fine. Thanks for following us! Best, Tracy

Most of the craft stores don’t have big styro wreaths. LOVE the one you have made up. Soooo simple too. You could even take a bout pin and pin the stars in place just to make sure any dampness would not cause them to drop off.

I used a regular pool noodle in the narrower diameter. A styrofoam wreath would work as well.
