I have a stainless fridge so the water area is gray and stained with those horrible hard water spots. Wondering if cleaning vinegar would be better? I’ve had those water stains for about 10 years and couldn’t get rid of them no matter what I did! I kept telling my hubby to go online and order a new tray…but he never did! Now he doesn’t have to!!! My tray was harder to scrub than yours because the spaces in between the grooves were tighter. So I used a small pairing knife to scrape off the stains after soaking in the vinegar! I felt like a dental hygienist…lol! But it worked perfectly! Thank you sooooo much MFP! Here is my before and after picture…

It is so much more environmentally friendly than the last way I cleaned the fridge! It was completely gross after we moved it across the country and I had to resort to exit mould, YUCK!
